2010 Signing Line
Each annual festival highlights a specific country, and that nation's cultural heritage. Naturally all of the other mainstay cultural experiences, including several ethnic restaurants, cultural dance teams, musicians, and vendors are eternally present.
I'm often asked on stage at the opening Ceremony to present posters as gifts to key individuals. I'm the goofy guy in the green (my official T-Shirt design for the festival).
My role centers around the event's promotional pieces, the annual event icon, programs, t-shirts, and posters, by visually illuminating the most intriguing elements of that year's featured culture.
At every festival, Rose State graciously supplies me with a booth and large stacks of posters to sign, and I'm always amazed by the lines that form. So many kind and happy "fans" stop by, (many are annual regulars) all of which I'm always thrilled to greet, sign and take photos with.

Global Oklahoma happens only with the skilled efforts of a vast staff, and the clever acumen of Lisa Price, director and champion of the event, has always led the cause for over 25 years.
I was honored to be invited recently to Lisa's retirement party, where among many of her accolades, the president, regents, vendors and staff congratulated her for her genius of bringing other events, and chiefly Global, to vibrant and brilliant life. You will be missed Lisa!
It's always an honor to be a part of such a large and vibrant event, and every year at Global Oklahoma is a renewal of my gratitude in the staff of Rose State and the people of Midwest City and Oklahoma City. Their appreciation of culture and the arts invigorates my soul, and inspires me to new challenges as an artist.
